 Job Description

 Anderson’s is a brochure distribution and marketing company serving primarily the Campground and Travel & Tourism industries.  The company attends approximately 25 RV shows throughout the East Coast from Quebec City to Tampa FL.  At these shows, we display kiosks full of literature, similar in nature to a Welcome Center.  The shows typically last 3 to 4 days, and the booth is staffed the entire time the show is open.  The bulk of the show schedule runs from January through March, and then again in August and September.

 Anderson’s is looking for a highly motivated, extremely dependable person to fill a position on their team.  The job description is as follows:

 Manage logistics of the Anderson’s show schedule – including planning of trailer routes, packing trailers for shows, and delivery of trailers to shows.

 Staffing of shows – during the months of January, February and March, the successful applicant will be staffing a show every weekend.  A typical week will involve leaving the warehouse on Wednesday, staffing a show for 3-4 days, then returning on Monday. 

 Sales – during the ‘non-show’ season, the successful applicant will be responsible for making sales calls targeted to attract new business.  This task will primarily be done from home by phone and targeted email campaigns, but may also include onsite visits.  See note below on travel expenses.

 Skills required:  Outgoing and social with the ability to mix well with the general public and customers alike.  Skilled at towing a trailer.  Ability to lift boxes weighing 40 pounds.  Email and Social media skills. 

 Compensation:  Annual compensation expected to range between $30,000 and $45,000, broken down as follows:  $3,000/month for January, February, March, August and September ($15,000 total guaranteed) plus 50% commission for all new business acquired. 

 Note:  All travel expenses while attending a show or doing sales calls are reimbursed, including gas, lodging and meals.
